Start Your Time-Capsule - Vlogmas Continues! (Rant)

I have been wondering how many people know what a Vlog is, much less Vlogmas. I have my Facebook Fan Page and I also have my person account and sometimes I have some great videos that I'd like to share with friends and family and most of them know I vlog (and like to take photos), but I feel like they really don't get it.

A few months ago the Youtube Mommy Meetup, just one of the "communities" I'm apart of (vlogging moms and dads) had their first ever Conferance and Collab Camp and they all gave it rave reviews and loved how they all just clicked because they each didn't find it weird when they pulled out a camera to vlog! I'm missing that in my life, lol.

I also love vlogging because we can look back at these videos whenever we want. There have been days where we spend 1-2 hours looking at videos of when the girls are younger and we talk and remember these great days, especially the holidays. I see families share these short little videos on Facebook or Instagram and they are so adorable, but how are they going to remember when they posted it and find it later when they want to see them again. Tell me, how many times have you posted a video on your wall and gone back to look at it later? Hardly ever, right? Youtube is like a mini time-capsule, we love it!

I just think everyone should have some sort of place, doesn't have to be youtube, where they can keep all of their videos accessible to the whole family. Even with Youtube you can keep your videos private or create a family account so anyone can upload and/or see the content uploaded onto that channel. Then during the holidays everyone can sit down and watch "Family Movies" again!

If you have a particular story or situation then I would suggest you share it with the world and more than likely you will help, encourage and give hope to those going through the same situation as you! There is a great sense of community when you do share publicly.

If you'd like to join my community then subscribe to my Youtube Channel.... Where we "Don't Say Hurry!" And here is my Vlogmas Playlist: It's a vlog everyday in December, answering promots form the #YTMM or just sharing what's going on in our everyday life!
