No time for #MPM!

#MPM = Menu Plan Monday! This is what I have written on my Menu Plan for this week.....

EO, Chicken Fajita Tacos, Chicken Pot Pie (From Costco), Sandwiches and EO

EO = Eat Out!

Ahhhh, I'm dying here, yeah. Super busy and stressful week so I'm not stressing myself out even more by trying to cook at home much this week. The chicken fajita tacos are getting put in the crockpot at noon so they will be ready when we come home at around 7pm! and then Thursday we're having some ham sandwiches.

STORY-TIME!

Hubby went to Costco for me this week, we usually go on Sundays, and I texted him the list:
  1. Water
  2. Bread
  3. Ham
  4. Lettuce and Tomato
  5. Eggs
  6. Milk
  7. Chicken Pot Pie
And can you guess what we might be eating from that list? Sandwiches! Right? Well, not him. He comes home with huge, round slices of ham that cost like $15! And he turns to me and says "I don't know why you wanted ham." OMG! So those are going to be some pretty yummy sandwiches, I was thinking of doing like a cuban style sandwich and press it on the panini grill, that should work!

Anyways, do ya'lls schedule get as busy as ours and find yourself eating out a bit more? "RAISES HAND," well, you are not alone!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
