Late Night Poetry!

Today's homework was Poetry! 4 line stanzas to be exact. Yvette had to finish the Stanza.... In a better world

Now that wasn't so hard was it?! It took her, she's 11 year old and in 6th grade, about 25 minutes to write four lines. And she still had a report to type and finish her Science project that is due tomorrow! Hubby gave me a look when I started helping her with it, lol.

WOW!!! Right? I don't remember having this much homework when I was younger. Our girls (two of them) go to a semi-new school that focuses on 100% everyday and on college and on so many other positive things and we love it! It was 9:45 when she finally went to bed. My parents really didn't give us a bed time and I remember sometimes watching the 10 o'clock news some nights. Are we strict parents? Do your kids have a bedtime? Our girls bedtime is 8:30!

I for one loved doing homework, my husband not so much, so I guess that's where she gets it from. But I am still so proud of her. From where she was last year at her previous school to this year, it has been a huge improvement!

Let's keep moving forward!
