"Put Christ back in Christmas"
"Can't wait to spend more time with the Family"
"Tis the Season for Giving"What takes away from that? How many of us actually abide and follow through? But I have to be honest, where do I stack-up? I do love to attend our cultures traditional "events," if you will and I'm a stay-at-home mom but not always in the moment and I love to give, but not as much as I'd like to.
Most of my time is spent on Facebook! And I know I'm not alone, RIGHT?! We even pull out our phone while in the RESTROOM! Don't lie, I know you do it to!
So, for the rest of the month I will not be looking at FACEBOOK, commenting on FACEBOOK, liking those adorable baby photos on FACEBOOK! It will just be my and my family.
Disclosure: I will still be participating in Vlogmas and sharing photos on Instagram and share via Periscope!
So I'm quite excited for the girls last week of school and going on more hikes and other fun festivities! I can also do a bit of writing, blogging and catch up on my weekly vlogs! It will also help me with my motto of not saying the word "Hurry!"
I would love if some of ya'll would join me. What should we call it?
Follow me on Instagram and I'll be using the hashtag there and sharing all the other things you could be doing instead of on facebook and then possibly create a collage!
If you'd like to take this challenge with me just use the hashtag #ChristmasFacebookDetox and maybe your photo will make it into the collage! Leave a comment down below with a goal that you may have set for yourself. I think mine will be to get back to planning out my meals more efficiently and say "Merry Christmas" to people face-to-face rather than on Facebook (maybe also not look at my phone while sitting on the toilet!)
How long will this challenge last? As long as you'd like... for me 15/16 days, so till the end of the month! Maybe even more if I enjoy it. I know I'll probably have like 10billion messages, comments and friend requests (I know, I'm so popular), but that's not real life folks!
