Summer Bucket List *2015*

Summer is in full swing, well, it's not summer till a few more weeks, but girls are out of school, it's hot as heck outside and we have been going to the library almost everyday, that means it's summer for us!!

Each year I plan a few things for us to do but I have never written a summer bucket list! I saw a vlogger friend of mine make a video sharing what their list was so I figured this would be a fun idea for me to sit with the girls and get them excited about summer to.... watch our video here!

We are going to be making and decorating a big poster with our list that way we can check off after we've done them and to just have fun wasting glue and playing with glitter, lol Be sure to follow us on Instagram to see the photo!

WHAT'S ON YOUR SUMMER BUCKET LIST this summer?! Please comment down below. If you have any ideas or fun things that you think we should add to our list, let us know!

But what I'm most excited about is not having to wake up at the crack of dawn!! lol

Now it’s your turn!

  1. I love that idea of making a check list together! Good luck!! I'm always a lot more ambitious at the beginning of summer and then pretty soon I don't want to do any of the things I thought I wanted to do with them. I hope you get through your list!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
