Sprouts Weekly Deals: 9/11

Sprouts deals are back!

Sprouts is a local Organic/Natural food store where we usually buy our fruits and veggies and on Wednesday (when their new ad comes out) they have Double Ad Wednesday, so last weeks ad and the new ad is in effect! And they take coupons too! You can use one Sprouts coupon and one manufacture coupon per item. In my experience the printable Sprouts coupons need to be manually entered, so, just a heads up. Oh and also, Sprouts coupons is one per customer. So they are not like internet coupons, you can only print one (per computer)! Hubs now has school everyday so on Wednesdays I give him a list of items to pick up for us. And don't forget, you can also PM (price-match) at Wal-Mart.

You can find more Organic Coupons for some great items and score awesome deals by visiting They also have monthly contests/giveaways, so you wanna check that out to.

Visit the Sprouts website HERE and you can see the pdf weekly ad for Sprout…

Unplanned Menu Monday - Unmotivated

Oh deal.... Monday has come and gone. This Mami is still sick and yesterday was full of errands, it just came and went. It's times like this I don't feel like cooking nothing at all. Since I was sick all weekend, dishes piled, floors weren't swept and trashcan got full! My cough got even worse today and slept horribly. I did get up early to make the girls lunch today, boiled some eggs and we had that for breakfast. Lunch is leftovers from dinner, and dinner was leftovers! lol Yeah, it's that kinda week. So, menu this week is far from the best, but hopefully I will start to feel better and the menu will change.

This weeks shopping list: nothing, if I can help it!

Breakfast: Pancakes, scrambled egg, oatmeal, fruit, toast and cereal

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Crockpot Chicken (if I find a recipe)

Wednesday: Sandwiches

Thursday: ???

Friday: ???

Making Memories: Labor Day

Labor day was filled with NO WORK! For the exception of the regular mommy duties, of making sure kids were clean, fed and changed, which is enough work for the day, lol. If you watched my Zero Waste Week intro video on my Youtube Channel, you know that my sister was in town. That's always fun. She only lives 4 hours north of us, but we see her maybe twice a year! Only sad part was that my mom had to work on Labor Day (as did hubby and Yvette went to school too). My grandma invited us for a day out, breakfast and shopping!

We started by taking Yvette lunch, cus mama kind of slept in, so I didn't make it for her in the AM. So I boiled some water and made her a mac n cheese veggie mix with crackers and some fruit. Oh and a granola bar for dessert. We all (my sister included) headed over to her new school to drop it off. We were lucky to get a new secretary, but she did get her lunch.

Grandma was calling as we left the school cus she was hungry! We drove to two places and they we…

Doc McStuffins' School of Medicine *Review* New Release!

This past weekend Mami was sick! Ohhh, mom's aren't suppose to get sick. I had hubby go buy me some soup, I snuggled up with some hot tea and my sewing kit to replace some elastic in my cloth diapers! (I also stripped some diaper too, by hand). But the girls obviously could not stay still. They finished all their homework for the weekend and hubby had taken them out for dinner and a movie, but when they got back, they were still as hyper as can be.

Thankfully, I received a free copy of Doc McStuffin's School of Medicine to review. Perfect timing! It had 5 episodes and a cute little "Doc Dress-Up Play Set" inside. My 10 year old had more fun with that. I asked my girls a few questions after watching two episodes (and then it wa bath time), because believe it or not, they had never seen this cartoon before.

Me: What did you think about Doc McStuffins'?
The Girls: It was awesome!

Me: Who was your favorite character?
The Girls: Doc Mcstuffins'!

Me: Do you want to k…
