Writers Workshop: My Future, Back Then

1.) Describe what you thought living on your own would be like after you graduated high school.

Now that I think about it, I actually had no expectations. The only thing I thought about was being married and staying at home with my babies and that is exactly what has unfolded and I think that is awesome. I was a weird girl growing up, heck, I need to start being truthful to myself, i'm still WEIRD! lol

But I knew what I wanted and I went for it! Teehee! I had a pretty good head on my shoulders though, I knew I would be doing laundry and dishes 24/7! Ohhh, what JOY!

I did think we would be living out of the valley though, life is full of surprises!

Now it’s your turn!

Mama's Losin' It

  1. What's life without a little weirdness anyway?? That's great you got to stay home with your kids!

  2. Getting married to my high school sweetheart and starting a family was exactly what I pictured my life after school, too! Just what I did, too. And, I think that is a very worthy goal when you are ready and are realistic about the work and commitment involved. I loved growing up with my kids! Love your attitude.

  3. that's exactly what I thought too :) Stopping by from mama kats kelley at the road goes ever ever on

  4. I fell similar to you. I knew I wanted to work with kids and be a mom...I stuck pretty close to that life plan and I'd say things are working out just fine! Glad to see they are for you too!! :)
