Day 8: Mom of Multiples

Day 8, Thursday: A piece of advice you have for others. Anything at all.

As a mom of three girls it can be hectic for sometime almost every day and I often get stressed. It's crazy when I stop and think to myself "What am I doing?" or "What was I going to do?" I'm letting the stress and tasks get away from me. I just did a vlog where I start by saying I have too much on my plate!

So my advice to moms of multiples is...

to take it all in and

A good way to do this is to have your family join in the everyday tasks. I know it can be hard sometimes but it helps so much. My girls have always had daily chores and it's never to early to start. Yvette the oldest has now started folding the clothes and Eliada is helping put away the clothes. Even Annaleah, now 21 months, helps put the recycling in the right bags (sometimes just on the floor). These little tasks help me out so much. I'm starting to use my calendar more and take advantage of my to-do list where I can check off one item and not start the next item on the list until I've finished the first. It's helped me out a lot lately.

Yes, I'm blogging every day! Click HERE to see the prompts and join in! Leave a comment if you have blogged about one of these topics as well.

  1. I am working through them two or three at a time. =) That is a great tip. I have three girls as well (5, 6 and 8)

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
