Day 3: Just walk the other way!

Day 3, Friday: Things that make you uncomfortable

Oh dear! There is too many things to list. I could go on and on, so how about we just list 5 things! Sounds like a plan to me....
That's how I sit, really!
  1. Confrontations: When I was little as soon as my mom or anyone else would get mad at me I would start crying!
  2. Forgetting my PIN: I only have two debit cards that I use, so you would think it wouldn't be that difficult. But I mix them up all the time and I hate to see that little red box or the "Declined" message pop up. I get tomato red, really, and yes, I'm 30 years old!
  3. Meeting new people: I think I hide it pretty good but if I don't make a good first impression the first time i meet you then I try to avoid you. Sorry!
  4. Talking on the phone: I don't even like to talk to my mom or sister on the phone :[
  5. Waiting/Meeting Someone: Waiting in general. For example waiting for your doctor to come into the room with you. You never know when they will walk in. I just sit there thinking to myself "Okay, NOW, he's coming in, no NOW!" It's weird! And (double whammy) meeting someone. When I have agreed to meet someone (whether I know them or not) at a certain location, same thing as the Dr. office, I don't know when they will arrive. "Why aren't they here yet!"
Okay, did that make you uncomfortable? I am now uncomfortable that you know what makes me uncomfortable. Oh fudge, I hope none of my so called "friends" see this blog post! :o If you have read it, next time you see me just do me a favor and walk the other way! lol <3 br="">

  1. Oh those are good ones! For the life of me, I couldn't think of too many and I know I have LOTS of things that make me uncomfortable.

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
