Day 16, Friday: Something difficult about your "lot in life" and how you're working to overcome it
Keeping track! One of my priorities right now is my health. Well, for as long as I can remember I've always gone the cheap route, where ever we go to eat, or when we are out shopping for something if it comes down to two items the one I choose will depend on the price. So I will get the cheapest item. The other factor is how healthy it is. So I'm very good at that, especially when we eat out. I will usually get a salad or if we are at a burger place I'll get a veggie or a turkey burger and instead of fries I'll sub for steamed veggies or what have you.
But, there's a big but, I have always attempted and been told to keep a food diary and that seems like the next step would be, right. Back before Eliada was conseived I joined eDiets.com and LOVED it! I lost 20lbs. It took me like 6 months, but I lost it! I was great! The only thing I couldn't do back then was keep a food journal, it was so annoying. I have tried different apps and strageties, but nothing seems to stick. I either forget or write it down on my laptop but forget to put it in the app or something. Then the next thing I know, it's like a whole week later and I forget what I ate!! UGH
By far, if not one of the most difficult, certainly the most annoying!
