Day 15: Day in the Life *Photos*

Day 15, Wednesday: A Day in the life (include photos from throughout your typical day - this could be "a photo an hour" if you'd like)

First, stopped by HEB to share some of the best deals with my facebook page, HEB Clearance Junkie! And then stopped by the recycling center (no pics) and took the girls to the park. On the way to the park the girls did their homework and then we drove down the street to Sprouts to get some produce. And then check out what my oldest, Yvette did for the first time!

Great deal on Organic veggies, don't you think!

I went home to finish some laundry and dishes and make lunch. Then picked up the girls and we went to the park and I got some exercise in too! I love parks with a walking trail around so that I can keep an eye on the girls.

Here's my jogging partner. She ended up falling asleep during my jog!

Mommy came to play too! This was a new park that we went to, it was so beautiful!

My girlies! They love to pose (sometimes)

Charlies Angels!

We sat by the lake and attempted skipping stones

I got a bit of time to relax, but not before I did 10 situps and 10 leg lifts, yeah, people were looking at me funny!

Annaleah wasn't a fan of sitting in the grass!

Race back to the van!

Time to go pick up some produce at Sprouts, beautiful view driving down Bus. 83

Bottled water is $2.99, so Annaleah thought we should grab a few! She really tried to lift the pack! lol

I absolutely dread putting gas, so today I let Yvette put gas! She did great and was so excited!

Hope you enjoyed these pics, they are from Wednesday, May 14th 2014.

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
