Boy, it's good to be back to blogging. My little piece of sanity during the day, lol. During the holidays, we did a really good job of not eating out too much. I got to try out some new recipes and have notes with adjustments and will def be trying them out again, so look out for those. Follow me on pinterest for inspiration and the links below as well.
This week I'm using up what we have in the fridge. We found some deli turkey on clearance for like $1.50 and we had some leftover diced potatoes from the breakfast sale at our church, so we're using that up first. Oh and also found some whole wheat rolls for $1 also, so might move that up.
Breakfast ideas: Cereal, Granola, Toast, Homemade Poptarts, oranges, apples, oatmeal, eggs, potato and chorizo
Monday - Grilled Turkey Sandwiches with Steamed broccoli n cheese
Tuesday - Empanadas de picadillo con salsa
Wednesday - Grilled Chicken with Sauteed Green Beans and Whole Wheat Rolls
Thursday - Jalapeno Chicken with Rice n Beans
Friday - Chicken Chili with cornbread
I got a question before I took my break about what we eat for lunch.... LEFTOVERS! My hubby does not eat leftovers, so me and Eliada have lunch before I drop her off at school and that's that! Leftovers are usually better anyways, lol.
