Menu Plan Monday - The Best Times!

Welcome to another #MONDAY! Hope the weekend was relaxing for ya'll. We had a lazy Saturday and then Sunday we went to go visit our local National Shrine. Check out my Instagram for a beautiful pic of our girls. This week is a SURVIVAL WEEK! If ya'll didn't see that someone stole my purse and camera while I went jogging last Wednesday. So yeah, I'm just trying to think of it as a pantry week. Things haven't been so bad without money, lol. Sometimes the best times are the times you are struggling. Hubby and I always remember the days we had no vehicle and we would take long strolls to the grocery store, it was kinda like a date!

Breakfast ideas: Oatmeal, Cereal, Sausage and Eggs, homemade poptarts, biscuits (thanks to dudeMom!)
Lunch ideas: Egg salad, Grilled Cheese, leftovers, sandwiches and more leftovers!

Here is the Menu for the week:

Monday - Baked turkey leggs with stuffing and peas and carrots
Tuesday - Taco Tuesday (with Jalapeno chicken)
Wednesday - Red Beans & Rice (with sausage)
Thursday - Chili with cornbread
Friday -  Pizza night (fzn)

So thank goodness to couponing because the only thing we need to buy this week is bread, lettuce and tomato! And all these items I've got either free or super cheap. The turkey leggs I got on quick sale, the peas and carrots for $.25, ground beef reg. price, but got $10 off that basket, so you might calculate those as #FREE! Beans and rice were $.50 ea and the sausage was reg price but got a 2Lt drink Free that we donated and the chili mix I got for around $.62 on clearance and the cornbread was a leftover mix from new years from my grandma. Pizza is frozen pizza, that my hubby likes. Used a $1 coupon from HEB, so that's our most expensive meal of the week!
