Let's do some Shopping!

This past holiday season I did the most shopping I have ever done! But I never had to step into a store! Well, a few times I did. But man, it is so fun to shop and NEVER have to pay retail. I see some hauls of my youtube mommy friends and thing to myself, "oh dear" because there would be no way that I would have paid hardly half that price, lol. I often ask myself, "Am I cheap?" But my husband reassures me that I am not, and that I'm frugal and just love to save money and if it wasn't for me that we would be more poor than we already are, lol. I love him to death, lol.

Anywho, so, I did lots of #Clearance shopping after the holidays and then we went to the outlets, Rio Grande Premium Outlets and got some great essentials for the girls (Tanks for $.70!!) And since we have three girls, I kinda look at their clothes as an investment because more than likely the next daughter will have to wear it to, so I always ask Eliada, the 4 year old, if she likes the outfit as well.
Walmart Haul!

Then I did lots of online shopping! Lowe's had some great Christmas clearance as did some department stores and my absolute favorites were the deal sites! On some of them I got the girls mittens for $1 and backpacks for $1.50! Check out my Youtube channel and my facebook page to see what else I got!

And a lot of them have great incentives for new shoppers! For example... Zulily! You get $10 off your first order, new members only, AND, when you refer your friends you get $15 credit! What does that mean? EVERYONE SAVES! And OMG, you have got to go check out what they have, super adorable clothes, gifts and even shoes and kitchen gadgets too! Click below to check it out and sign up.

Another fav is Luvocracy! If you want an invite to this one send me an Email! They also offer a $10 credit when you are invited :)

What were you able to find during the after holiday sales?!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
