Menu Plan Monday - Sept 2nd

We survived week one! Yes! I think all us moms deserve an award at the beginning of each school year! Don't you agree? Speaking of school, we're still having a bit of trouble with "acceptance" with our girls taking their own lunch. For Eliada (who started pre-k this year), the teacher and TA help the kids open their own milk and plastic fork packet, yet I don't think they are helping Eliada at all. I mean, if you pack your kids lunch or if you have ever went on a pic-nic you know that sometimes those containers are sealed pretty well. And I also have her reusable spork wrapped in a paper towel in the zipper and the past few times I've sent her lunch it comes back home basically full. Yvette has a similar/different situation. She says that they are the last class to go in for lunch and they always rush them and she doesn't have a chance to finish her milk and her dessert. I'm not too sure if that is true, but I'm gonna go check it out tomorrow. So.... both my girls are starving when they get home!

Enough ranting, lets get to this weeks menu!

Monday: Eating out to celebrate our participation in the Rally!

Tuesday: Mini Corndogs with Chili and Fritos (hubby's request)

Wednesday:BBQ Sausage Tacos with Grilled Onions and Corn

Thursday: Spaghetti-Dogs and Steamed Veggies

Friday: Home-made Hamburgers with Wedged French Fries and Cheese
