What's for Dinner? 3 Soup Spaghetti, Recipe by Yvette

I don't know about ya'll but right after I finish cleaning up lunch I am already dreading making dinner. Most of the time I have to wash dishes again. Anywho, this is the first time that my girls have been cooking on their own! Supervised of course. One day a week they get to help make or completely plan the meal on their own. Eliada of course is usually breakfast or lunch and she is slowly getting good at scrambling eggs! Yvette has made dinner on her own (and shopped) a hand full of times. Today, she wanted to share what the plan and the recipe is for today!

Hi, my name is Yvette. My mom is the Mami Blog. Two days ago we went to HEB and got the ingredients for Spaghetti Soup. It's actually called 3 Soup Spaghetti, but I changed it. We got to the store and it was just my mom, grandma and my little sisters Eliada and Annaleah. Grandma went to the bathroom and we picked

Mami said we had an onion and meat at home, so all we bought were the soups that we needed. Here is the recipe:
out some fruit to eat for a snack. I love crunchy apples and my sister loves mangos. Then we passed by the bakery and it smells so good! My daddy always lets us choose a donut when we go shopping with him, but mami always says no.

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of cheddar cheese soup
1 can of tomato soup

Here are the directions:
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  2. Ground beef, drain and then add onion.
  3. Then add each can of soup and mix until well blended
  4. Drain spaghetti and pour meat sauce/soup over spaghetti
I was suppose to make this for dinner tonight, but we did it yesterday because my daddy had already taken out the meat and I had to wash some forks so we could eat it. My mami told me to take a picture but I forgot. It was nice and creamy and we couldn't even taste the onion. Oh and I toasted some bread and put some butter on it. It was so good!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
