Fabulous Mami - My obsession!

Yeah! Welcome to my new weekly series! I am so excited because this is actually a "secret" resolution for the year, not just for me, but for my husband. I, myself, DO NOT feel like the most beautiful woman/wife/mother. But it's hard to believe when you don't believe it yourself.

So in this "series" each week I will focus on one part of the body/feature and share what I think about it, how I can make myself feel better about it, do something about it by posting how-to's or tutorials, my favorite fashion pin from Pinterest that week. Follow "My Style" on Pinterest if you're a big girl.

I hope ya'll enjoy it and share your insecurities or what you love about your body as well. If you're interested, check out this artile I read on Glamor.com

Week 4: Arms

One of my love/hate relationships with my body is my ARMS! I have a serious problem! I LOVE sleeveless shirts and blouses! It's annoying, lol. If I go to a deparment store more than 75% of the time I will pick out a shirt with no sleeves. It even annoys my husband. He says I have the same style, but I don't think I do.

I remember back in high school, you know, when we all think we're FAT! I loved my arms and my legs. Now, they are probably my least favorite. So, what am I going to do about it? Well, a few months ago I won this book, Totally Toned Arms. I am going to try my hardest to read and complete the challenge. It's a 21-day challenge.

Here are some photo inspirations....

And of course, these arms are not famous!

I don't think I should stay away from sleeveless if I love my arms or not. It's who I am and I'm still going to be drawn to them anyways, right?!

Your Thoughts:

Do you love or hate your arms?

Comments

  1. Love em'! :) Although I guess they could be a bit more muscular. ;)

  2. I love them for all that they can do! I can carry my 20+ pound baby for quite a while. They are perfect or all that toned right now, but I still love em'!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
