Menu Plan Monday - REPEATER


Got We're back! We had some money saved up for Eliada's birthday and.... WE SPENT IT ALL! I think we only ate home twice last week! :O That is soooo bad! I had been a steady 182, but I weight myself last night... and it wasn't that! lol So.... I'm doing a REPEATER! Same menu as last week, make it easy on mama :)

So, let's get to it!


Monday:

Left-overs from Sunday
Carne Guisada and Charro Beans
making some Brown Rice as well

Plates were $5 and the brown rice was $.92 after coupon... Hubby won't be joining us for dinner, so it's just the four of us tonight.

Tuesday:

Wedensday:

Thursday:
Caldo de Res

Beef @ $1.99/lb, $.49 potatoes on sale, $.33 cabbage (leftover), carrots 1lb for $.78 @ sprouts (not even using the whole bag and leftover rice from Tuesday!
Friday:
Shrimp Pasta
with Alfredo Sauce with Spinach and Garlic Bread
$1.01/person
Shrimp $5 bag on sale (using 1/2 bag), $.49 pasta after coupon, Alfredo sauce $1.22 after coupon and combo loco (free buscuits), Spinach FREE with BOGO sale at Sprouts, bread $.88 reg. price

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces.
