Menu Plan Monday - New Recipes

Happy Birthday to George Washington! Are you doing anything special? We got school and errands to run, so nothing special here. Trying to get back on track with doing mystery shopping and I have a few to do tomorrow. That's exciting.

I have been watching some meal prepping videos on youtube and I've been thinking about it just to make life easier. Usually, I have to start dinner right after I pick-up Yvette and do a few chores. I'd like to get more time with my girls because after dinner, they just take a bath and go to bed. Days are going by too fast.

So this week I have two new recipes that I have not attempted before.... Have you tried them?

Monday:
Chicken Tacos
with Spanish "brown" Rice and Refried Beans

Tuesday:
Goulash
*first time making it*

Wedensday:
Leftovers

Thursday
Cordon Bleu
with Steamed Broccoli and Baked Potatoes
*first time making it*

Friday
Dinner at Grandmas
Fish Fry

Shopping list for the week... is meat, zuchini and ham.

If you'd like the recipes for some of these, I have them Pinned on Pinterest! Follow me HERE! And like me on Facebook to see pics of my recipes when I post them! If you have a recipe that you'd like me to blog about or about how it went, if I changed anything, let me know! Or if you have a recipe you'd like me to try, I'd like that as well!

Link up with OrgJunkie.com. Lots of yummy recipes that you can find by browsing through her website or the hundreds of others who also share their weekly menu!

    1. It sure does! I also do lunch, lightly. I just have a list on my fridge of what we "could" eat.

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
