Menu Plan Monday - Meal Pricing

Last week was yummy! This week NO SHOPPING! I've kinda decided to not do too much couponing because I have a few bags that I have yet to put away cus I really don't have anywhere to put them, lol.

I also had a question on facebook how much I paid for the Cordon Bleu... I would say it was more pricy that my usual meals because I bought deli ham and cheese. The cheese was $1.21 (1/4 lb) and ham was $3.28 (1/3 lb), the chicken I bought on quick sale and the bread crumbs I made myself so it comes down to $1.62/person!  Would ya'll like me to put the price per serving again. I did it only for a few weeks when I did a week of cooking from pantry. Leave me a comment below!

So, let's get to it!

Homemade Hamburger Helper
Elbow Macaroni with Cheese Sauce and Broccoli
Elbow Mac was on clearance for $.75, Cheese, bought it with a combo loco and had a $1.50/1 coupon. Broccoli is organic and ground beef was reg. price ($3.48/lb)

Grilled Chicken Creamy Parmasean Pasta Salad
with Garden Salad
Chicken bought on quick sale, Pasta Salad was $.30 on clearance, Lettuce was FREE wyb dressing, tomato reg price, croutons $.50 w/coupon

CB BBQ Chicken Leg Quarters
with Potato Salad and Canned Corn
Chicken on sale $1/lb, Potatoes $.99 for 5lbs, corn $.38 with coupon

Dinner at Grandmas
Fish Fry

Shopping list for the week... NADA!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
