CVS Coupon Match-Up: 2/19-2/25

Welcome to WEEK 1 of my Coupon Match-Ups! I along with a few other bloggers have gotten together to share match-ups legally. Did you know when blogs copy and paste match-ups from other bloggers and post it on their blog (all or some) it's illegal and can face legal action? So I was always afraid to share other peoples match-ups on my blog. I tried doing it myself a few months back, but it just took too much time and I was drowning in coupons and almost bought a second laptop! Crazy, right?!

So please tell all your friends that The Mami Blog will now be featuring Match-Ups for CVS & Walgreens (H-E-B & Sprouts during the week too). If there is a link to a coupon I will give it to ya'll so you can just click and print. Or if you'd just like to print them all at the same time, *leave a comment with your email* and I will send you a link to MyPoints.com! Why? Well, because you get points for printing and redeeming coupons (double score!)!

*Updated Coupon Policy* Since sometime last year you may have noticed some coupons in our newspaper inserts and printable coupons have the new GS1 bar-codes (all info on one barcode). Most H-E-B registers will not take these coupons, but as per H-E-B Corporate if it is a legitimate coupon and you have purchased the correct product they should know to manually input the coupon to deduct the coupon amount off of your total. There is no word as to when they will update their registers.

Red Tip Tuesday - Frugal Valentines

 HAPPY VALENTINES DAY
Here is a special edition of GTT (Green Tip Tuesday), and we're turning it RED! First off, I hope ya'll stay calm and don't make a big fuss, but just take in the whole day and the LOVE that we share everyday! I love making Valentines a whole day (weekend, when possible)...
But what about all the money we can spend during this ONE DAY holiday? Ugh, it's so annoying. We go to the store and see it filled with candies, balloons and those ugly bears! HAHA (some aren't that ugly)
So here are just a few ideas that you can borrow for this special day and not spend all the MULA (money)....

Menu Plan Monday - Back in the Groove

This week, hubs and I went grocery shopping after our date night last night and for the past few weeks he has been stopping at the store to pick up what we would need for dinner. Why? Well, he started another semester at the local college and I am left at home with no car. Yes, I can go after he comes back or on a day he does not have class, but I have been freakishly busy! Yup, FREAKISHLY! So we decided to just make time to shop for the week and start Menu Planning more than we have been and hopfuly save us more money. I haven't even really seen if we have spent more money shopping every 2-3 days, but I'm almost sure it has.

At the store we bought some frozen meals, so that Eli and I can share for lunch when we're on the rush. We also got pork chops, chicken, veggies and fruit for dessert/snacks. Here goes nothing!

Monday
Chicken Fajita Tacos Lettuce & Tomato Spanish Rice n Beans
Tuesday
Spaghetti with "Love" Meatballs Fresh Garlic Bread Wednesday Leftover Night
