Frugal living is about using homemade remedies to save money and promote health as well as clipping coupons at the grocery store, when dining out and saving money in other ways too.  Well I have a great home made recipe for how to make an ice pack.

Homemade Ice packs:
Place in freezer.  You’ll find that this will stay flexible with the alcohol but still get really cold and slightly freeze.   Perfect for wrapping around bumps, bruises, aches & pains! Please share this post with friends & pin this on PINTEREST!
Do you like home remedies and saving money?  Its all part of my frugal living plan. Its my strategy for saving money in ALL aspects of my life so that I can choose specific things to spend my money on.
Your goals should be to spend less on groceries and dining out and bills and more on vacations and fun things that make your family happy and create memories for a life time. After all…. no one lays on their death bed and thanks the good Lord for all the money they spent at their grocery store but they may thank God for the times they spent together camping on or vacation etc. So save, save, save anywhere and everywhere  you can!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
