FOR TODAY

Outside my window...
Semi-green dried up grass...

I am thinking...
I gotta water the grass

I am thankful...
My COUCH!! We had a super long day and now i'm resting on my couch and my feet are throbbing!

In the kitchen...
I've been reorganizing the dwars... I want everything to flow... so far, so good!

I am wearing...
a white tee, blue jeans and white socks

I am creating...
Some great family memories

I am going...
to take my 8 year old to her religious education classes at 8 in the morning!

I am wondering...
If my husband and I will celebrate 50 years of (love) marriage!

I am reading...
NOTHING

I am hoping...
that I can lose this baby weight

I am looking forward to...
seeing the baby smile for the first time!

I am learning...
to be a better housewife

Around the house...
crumbs

I am pondering...
what I'll make for breakfast tomorrow

A favorite quote for today...
"Real People Love Coupons" - Ria

One of my favorite things...
ice cream from Peter Piper Pizza

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Taking the newborn to the doctor and later... a Coupon swap!

A peek into my day...

Palm Fest '12

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
