FOR TODAY

Outside my window...
is a sunny new day for me to have to get through. It's going to be a busy day and I can already feel the headache coming on!

I am thinking...
How well my grandma's "surprise" birthday party is going to be...

I am thankful...
for my family! My girls health, and that God keeps us in his prayers. I know there is a God because we get thrown so many curve balls, but in the end we pull through with more love than before!

In the kitchen...
it's a mess! I got to do dishes and organize the pantry...

I am wearing...
a white spaghetti strap and gray drawstring shorts. Just another mommy outfit so I can be comfy, do laundry, make breakfast and feel FAT!

I am creating...
the best family I can

I am going...
to get this new blog done and then get something to eat. Don't know if it's breakfast, snack or lunch... it's Brenach!

I am wondering...
if I will ever have a body for my husband to show off to his friends and say, "Yeah, that's the wife!" with a grin on his face!

I am reading...
How to Clean House

I am hoping...
that my husband is happy

I am looking forward to...
losing weight and getting this tummy tightened up. With my first two I was just thinking to myself, "I'm gonna have more kids and get more fat, why lose weight." But I am not thinking that this time around, lol...

I am learning...
how to be more healthy

Around the house...
are piles of clothes!

I am pondering...
getting a tummy tuck, but I really don't want to. Thinking about getting one after baby #4!

A favorite quote for today...
"If you want something done right, do it yourself"

One of my favorite things...
is a good nap

A few plans for the rest of the week:
School starts tomorrow! And I have my post-partum appointment on Tuesday

A peek into my day...

Comments

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
