*Spring Cleaning Break*

Hello readers! Cinella here coming to you with an announcement... well, not really. I just wanted to let ya'll know that I will be taking a mini break for about a week to two weeks to CLEAN! I wish I was saying it was to go on vacation or something, but that isn't the case. We are going to be cleaning out the garage this weekend and throughout the week. I wish I could show ya'll before and after pictures but as ya'll may know, if you are a fan on my Facebook Page, that my camera has died. It still does kinda work, but only when it wants to. I also wanted to join in OrgJunie's Garage Challenge, but that isn't working either because we really don't have anything to organize the garage with. After we're done we're going to have a garage sale and donate everything else that doesn't sell.

Yes, I will pace myself. I turned 25 weeks on Wednesday and have actually been taking naps about every other day, which is great! Eli is pretty much potty trained, and I'm teaching her how to "wipe" herself properly and that is so hopeful. Vetty had lots of math homework everyday, so that gives me time to wash & launder and am just doing things little bits at a time. Hubs started summer school, but got classes only twice a week in the evenings, so he has been great helping around the house as well. I just finished folding the pile of clothes that had been sitting on the coach for the past week. And now it's after 1AM and finally going to bed.

I'm excited to clean out the garage because the girls baby clothes is in there, so we can see what is still usable and what we would have to buy for the baby. And hopefully the money for the garage sale will be the "budget" that we will set for ourselves.

I have one giveaway to put up this weekend and there is also one active GIVEAWAY that ends on the 21st, so be sure to enter to win and then I'll see you back during the first weeks of summer! Vetty has 2 more weeks of school, OH JOY! So, once we get settled in and get into a routine I will be back to a bloggin'!

Be sure to follow me on Facebook, maybe YouTube, for updates, i'll be popping in there, be sure to say HI!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
