Menu Plan Monday - Back in the Groove

This week, hubs and I went grocery shopping after our date night last night and for the past few weeks he has been stopping at the store to pick up what we would need for dinner. Why? Well, he started another semester at the local college and I am left at home with no car. Yes, I can go after he comes back or on a day he does not have class, but I have been freakishly busy! Yup, FREAKISHLY! So we decided to just make time to shop for the week and start Menu Planning more than we have been and hopfuly save us more money. I haven't even really seen if we have spent more money shopping every 2-3 days, but I'm almost sure it has.

At the store we bought some frozen meals, so that Eli and I can share for lunch when we're on the rush. We also got pork chops, chicken, veggies and fruit for dessert/snacks. Here goes nothing!

Chicken Fajita Tacos
Lettuce & Tomato
Spanish Rice n Beans
Spaghetti with "Love" Meatballs
Fresh Garlic Bread
Leftover Night

Chicken with Penne Pasta
Steamed veggies

Chicken Wing Buffet!
*Sweet n Sour*
*Hot n Spicy*

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
