Wordless Wednesday - Tonge Action

Green Tip Tuesday - Saving Up

Today I wanted to talk about something that most of us go through every year.... Power Outages, No or low water flow and more. What do you do and are ya'll trully ready when natural disasters happen? Well, there is a way that you can prepare with out spending a DIME! Well, for certain items that is.

I wanted to let ya'll know how to prepare your own water storage/back-up. It will be a short post because it's just that simple & easy to do.

Who buys the 48-59oz jugs of juice?? Well, instead of throwing them away or recycling them, just rinse them out and poor a bit of soap in there and wash/rinse it out and fill it up with either filtered water (if you are going to use the water to drink) or tap water (if you will be using it to take a bath). Ideally, you would want both kinds of jugs filled. Be sure it is a food grade plastic or better yet, BPA FREE jugs! And if you have the 5 gallon jugs of water those would be great to! Menu Plan Monday - Not Creative

Not being creative at all this week because..... well, just because! Being a mommy doesn't always have to be difficult and I say this because I thought it was this weekend. We had lots of throwing up and poop this weekend.... yeah! But it was all good in the end because we spend some quality family time together. We saw the Popeye and ate lasagne, which surprisingly stayed down!

Here is this weeks menu:

Monday: Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup

Tuesday: Baked chicken with black beans & rice

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Hamburgers n wedge fries (home-made)

Friday: Pizza!

Sunday In My City - Seeeee!

This weekend we got to enjoy our parish's annual Fall Festival! First, the weather was perfect! it had been cold and raining just a few days before. Third, so glad that everything went well, hubby helped with the set up and cleaning up, I helped too! Here are some shots that I took... this years theme was in memory of all the Veterans for Veterans Day next week.
These burgers were delicious and were only $1.50!
She is say "Seeee!"
She was in the ZONE with that cheese!
There was a beautiful display with hundreds of photos of Veterans and stories, it was beautiful!
