Over the Rainbow??

Here I am in the 2nd story of my father in-laws house (May he rest in peace) with my leggs asleep, haha. Sleeping in and my girls playing with the weirdest things; a green bowl/box, a dragon with one wing and a dime and penny they found in the carpet. So adorable....

So yes, I am officially on "Vacation" but I will be making a few posts throughout the time we're here. We got here yesterday evening right at 8:00 PM. It was a good drive. My 7 year old asked lots of questions, including "Are we there yet" about a BILLION times and the toddler was asleep half the time, so that's good. We listened to Christmas music and just looked at the stars. We also got the news last night that I got a baby cousin! How exciting. I am one of the oldest cousins, and the only one that is married with kids, but not no more! ((I feel so old))

Now in my FIL house is his brother & his son, a house full of men. I woke up to banging in the bathroom, they are (and have been) remodeling the bathroom for the past few months, i looks great though. Hubs was out of bed already and my toddler just laid covered head to toe with her blanket, so precious! Then I find out that my 7 year old has been up, but not had anything to eat and was still in her PJs, which is fine, but not the eating part.

But now I'm here, typing this out and I see I have over 600 GFC followers! How awesome is that. Sad to say I have to go now and make the girls something "nutritious" to eat, I think they gave her a ham sandwich just a while ago... HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
