One of our families favorite "staycations" is spending the day at the Kemah Boardwalk. There is so much to do and see, not to mention eat! Kemah Boardwalk is home to (2) of my favorite Landry's Restaurants, Saltgrass and the Aquarium. You can play games, ride amusement park rides, check out the stingray exhibit and more. My son's favorite thing to do is ride the train around the boardwalk.

Kemah Boardwalk is located about 20 minutes south of Houston. It's a great day trip for the whole family. If you're from out of town there is even a great place to stay right in the middle of all of the action. Stretch out your sea legs and take a ride on one several tour boats. Be sure to have the kiddos bring their swim suits so they can play at the splash pad. There is just so much to do at Kemah I can't even list it all so you're going to have to take the family and see for yourself!

On behalf of Laundry's we are excited to offer one lucky reader the following day of fun prize pack.

(1) Prize Pack for a family of 4 ($180 value)

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
