Texas Summer Giveaway - Texas Country Music

Here in Texas we like to support Texans and the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame showcases Texans (born or raised) that are forever a part of this amazing genre.
Originally started in 1993 as the Tex Ritter Museum, it slowly expanded to include friends of Tex and other Texas country music legends. In 1998, the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame was born and today both are celebrating the contributions made by Texans to the country music profession.

They have highlighted everyone from singers to songwriters to disc jockeys in the hall of fame and every year they induct new members. This year, on August 20th they will induct;
Country Music DJ – Joe Bielinski from KTFW in Fort Worth TexasCountry Music Singer – Moe Bandy, known for “Just Good Ol’ Boys”Country Music Singer – Mickey Gilley, known for “Don’t the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time” and movie “The Urban Cowboy”
Currently there are 38 Texans showcased in the Hall of Fame. A few of those are;
Willie Nelson, 1998 - Waylon Jennings, 1999 - Bob Wills, 2000 - Kris Kristofferson, 2003 - George Jones, 2010
The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame also holds an annual “John Ritter Tribute Showcase” similar to a talent show; it is for new and upcoming artists.

The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, located in Carthage Texas, has graciously offered one lucky Texas Summer Giveaway Bash reader a 4 pack of tickets.

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.
