Green Tip Tuesday - Keep it Clean!

lkj Even though we buy most our food at our local farmers market or our local health foods store, organic, I still clean them! I just wanted to share with ya'll what I use to clean them. Most of the time it's a good wash with hot water and then I stick it in the freezer! I love CHILLED fruit! I've also been using "eat cleaner" wipes!

I love that they sell them in a "grab-n-go" pack for when my girls want fruit right after grocery shopping, lol. You can buy them for $8 at their website HERE. The pack they come in is reusable so can.... REUSE THEM! Genius! lol And so you can keep it handy CLICK HERE for a pocket guide to "The Dirty Dozen."

  1. I've read a lot, lately, about how we might be getting too clean ... and how some dirt (and germs) is actually good for our resistance. Do you have any thoughts on that? I usually wash everything with plain water and have been hesitant to use any of the commercial washes.

Have a great week ... and thanks for this post!

  2. oh yeah!! I usually don't buy cleaners, just make them myself, but when we buy from the farmers market I guess the "dirty" looking fruits get to me and just have to use a wipe to clean them!

Thanks for the comment... and every now and then we do go out, play in the garden & get MUDDY! LOL
