This week’s topic is :
Toddler Snacks – Share your favorites & your Toddler’s
Oh boy! Food is Eli's favorite past time, lol. We have our daily routines but when it comes to snack time anything can happen! We have our snack after Vetty gets out of school. I would love to have them eat veggies or fruit but Eli's favorite snack....
String Cheese!

I do try to change it up abit for her. Last night we had tacos for dinner and i strung some in her taco. I'll also try to tie a bow around apples or broccoli, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But almost every afternoon she drags me to the kitchen and pulls at the fridge saying, "Yum Yum!"

Besides her string cheese she loves "Apa." Apples! Funny thing is.... she does not eat the skin. If you look near her car-seat there's a little stash of apple peels (okay, I'll clean it up today).

Back to veggies.... Vetty loved her veggies especially soup with cabbage! She loved her cabbage. I so need to get her to eat more veggies. I've been making carrot juice and adding celery and what not and she'll drink it, but not eat them.

  1. String cheese is a great idea, its so convenient. My kids do like cheddar cheese - so maybe I should give the string cheese a try!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
