Toddler Talk Thursday - BedTime

Welcome to week 27 of Toddler Talk Thursday! Where Family and Life in Las Vegas, Crazy about My Baybah, and My Life as a Sippy Cup Mom talk all things Toddler!

Toddler Talk Thursday was created as a place for moms and dads of toddlers to come together over a weekly topic and share ideas, go-to toys, or products. It is a great way to meet other bloggers of toddlers. Each week the topic will be different; we invite you to link up, share your weekly Toddler Talk!!
Each week the hosts will travel around to each blog that links up, and pick an idea, story, or picture they think was a great example of that weeks topic. In order to qualify for this you need to blog about this week’s topic, and follow the hosts. Comments letting us know you are participating are always great too. If we choose your blog, we will link back to your post the following week.

Our highlighted blog this week is:
We love the picture of you and your little guy!

This week’s topic is :
Have you put your toddler into a bed yet? Share tips/tricks!

Have we? No! Do we? Well, I do! Most of the time Eli ends up in the bed with us. Hubs breaks down and just brings her to bed with us.

For the past few months I've been having her lay with her big sister for some time when she goes to sleep, just to show her that she's suppose to sleep in her own bed. Another thing is space. We live in a 3 bedroom home, but my mother is occupying the third room that we had for Eli, but we now have her crib stuffed in our master bedroom. So... we've been shopping for a bunk-bud. We're not to fond of them at all, but right now it's our only option.

With our eldest the transition was pretty simple, but she was already sleeping in her own crib and we had no problems with her at night time. Eli, is a whole different story. She isn't fond of Bed Time! I'm usually asleep by the time she falls asleep.

Hopefully by the summer we can get our sleeping arrangements figured out and ready for the new school year.

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
