Postitive Parenting @ The Mommy Blog

If you're a mom and you blog, I'm almost sure you have heard of I am addicted to a few shows, I don't always watch, but whenever I get a chance, and usually during breakfast or lunch, I love to sit and watch and sometimes interact with the hosts. They are all great and inspiring women. Why am I telling you this?

Well... I stopped in this past week and saw "Stop Reacting, Start Responding" with Sharon and wow... I will be back! Sharon has lots of experience with parenting and answers questions that she gets as well as takes questions from the chat room. I even got some help during the show and decided to take Sharon up on that offer and try it out.

My question was about I can help my Hubby see how he hurts my daughters feelings (ahhh, we got to go pick up Vetty already). So I'll just finish this up real fast. She suggested to "Shut up." Literally. She said to stand back so that I don't interfere with the emotional communication that is exchanged. I thought about that question because I saw Super Nanny a few weeks ago and the look on the little guys face was so painful and full of hurt.

I've been trying it out, and OMG, it's hard!

So stop and check it out. Here is Sharon's contact info and more....
