Blog Party: Green Tip Tuesday *Extra Entry*

We have a special Green Tip Tuesday today! I'd like to hear how you have been going green this year. I just learned that one of my family members just started a compost pile! Yahoo! Anyways.... if you didn't know I'm participating in "For The Love of Cloth Diapers" Blog Party, hosted by Eco Chic Parties. Read all about the Blog Party by clicking on "HERE" on the side bar. Diapers Etc. has successfully got their whole website re-vamped and it looks fabulous. You should check it out!

Today's Green Tip: Make your own wipes!

As I was going through Diapers Etc. new website I was looking through the cloth wipes. I myself have never bought cloth wipes. So I thought I'd share with you an easy how-to to make your own cloth wipes. It's super easy!

You can use same fabric or two different fabrics. One side fabric, one side flannel is good. Size is up to you. I like one side longer, about 4x6 or 4x8. But you can always just do 4x4. Then just put the "wrong" sides together and do a zig-zag stitch all the way around. Ta-Da! You're done.

So, for today's extra entry Go over to The Mommy Blog on Facebook or Blog Frog and lets mingle! What's a party without mingling? Head on over to see what we're chattin' about!

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
