HEB Weekly Deals 1/5-1/11

There are some pretty good deals and some major money that can be saved this week at H-E-B. Check out this weeks Texas Showdown... I would say stock-pile. We personally don't stock-pile that often, but when you pay the same price and you're getting a FREE item, all the more reason. Yes, there are times where you shouldn't buy an item just because you got a coupon or you're getting something FREE, but just think about it. Do you NEED it? Do you USE it? Then, do you have the extra cash. There have been a few instances where I do buy something that we don't use... like coffee creamer, but I will give it to my grandparents who do love coffee. Combo Locos this week will save you $31.44, so definitely check those out. You can see the whole weekly ad HERE.

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
