Perfect Holiday Gift! Family Edition

Here is my second post of this year and like i said, I plan to do this every year. Why? Because I have a very difficult time to choose what to give my friends and family this year. I may win a $25 gift card for writing this post as well, as part of the Bloggers Scavanger Hunt! It's been super fun being apart of this and I've already run into other bloggers post, it's cool to see what others blog about.

Anywho, let me get on with it. This week our clues let us to....... PEARLS! Ohhhh. Ahhhh. Pearls! Did you know pearls are a mineral and organic. Of course there are different classes of pearls but I'd say why would you not want the best.

At the selection is phenomenal. Take a look for yourself HERE. Each piece tells and describes exactly what you are getting, from where it's from, the size and I love to read the reviews because they give you the details that are not included in the description. If you are shopping for a loved one and have no idea what you are doing has wonderful buying guides as well as forums to get help on shopping. Like any jewelry purchase there is also warranty that is available with the purchase. I always make sure that I go over their available payment methods and return policy as well.

Now as far as Pearls as a gift. In my opinion pearl necklaces are the perfect gift for any lady in your family from your wife to your Aunt Sally who is so picky about gifts. I even read that father's are giving their daughters pearl necklaces! How sweet is that? I hope I've helped you out in finding the perfect gift for your family this holiday season...

Stay tuned next week to see where the Online Scavenger Hunt takes us!

I'm a participant in Overstocks’ Online Scavenger Hunt.
This blog post is my own words, but I may be receiving a gift card for my opinion.

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
