$5 Fill-A-Bag Sale!

It's that time of the year.... Children's Orchard is having it's Fill-A-Bag sale. And... if you are a member of the M.O.M.S Club then you get a special preview the day before so you get first pick of all the awesome deals.

What is Fill-A-Bag?! Husbands beware you're wives get til fill a bag, all the way to the top, with clothes and you only pay $5.00! How awesome is that?!

Every year I bring my hubby along because he has to approve of the clothes I buy, but I'm thinking, tough luck, if he doesn't like the clothes I pick he should go shopping. I bought a cute jean dress with overalls and he will not allow me to put it on the girls. Funny isn't it?

You can even visit their store online store and shop for some cute little gifts, but the Fill A Bag even is in stores only. Now, let me warn you. The $5 bag isn't that big, it's about a foot high and 6 inches wide, usually I can fit about 5-8 pieces of clothes in it. They also offer an $8 bag and a $10 bag which are much more bigger. I usually get a $5 and an $8. Call your local store, their prices for bigger bags may be different. If you really want something and it doesn't fit in your bag you can still purchase it for a $1 extra, not bad.

Another warning... don't wear long sleeves and if you can help it don't bring your children. At my local store it gets packed, hot and a bit crazy. I plan on being there about an hour early... lol

I will post what I buy and I'd like it if you share your savings as well. HAPPY SHOPPING!

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
