Green Tip Tuesday - Hungry?

Our family loves to have picnics! Yup, we sure do. We love going to our favorite park... Edinburg Municipal Park and just eating a snack or lunch. But I absolutely despise ice chests/coolers. I just don't like how bulky they are and hard to pack (you need to clean it out, get the ice, make sure you have enough for everyone). I usually end up throwing in the whole pack of ham, cheese and bread and tons extra. Then I'm all frustrated at the end....

How we usually pack is by creating single meals for everyone in the family. My baby loves avocado, so I pack her sliced an avocado sandwich, and everyone else has their own variation of a sandwich. Then everyone gets a fruit and maybe some chips or crackers. Plus I'm an addict to lunch bags. Anyways... I love packing a lunch because you don't have to use those wasteful plastic baggies. You just put everything in he container and when your done you just give it a quick rinse and it's ready to use again.

I have never used this lunch box system: Easy Lunch Boxes.... but I have heard so much about it. Lately they actually ran out of products! They had to wait a few months to get them back in stock. Her business has flourished and it's amazing to see how many families are now packing lunches. Well, they were probably doing it before but just not as eco-friendly.

The website is so easy to use and I love looking at all the different things you can pack in the Easy Lunch Boxes. Check out Neat Ideas for more Neat Ideas! lol

  1. We have been carrying the Easy Lunch Bags in our lunch bag store at CoolLunchBags.com for six months and they are flying out the door. Everyone loves them because they let them have a waste free lunch. Thanks for your review. Millie

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
