This Week on The View

MONDAY, MARCH 8 – The day after the Oscars!! It Isn’t over till the co-hosts have spoken! Guest co-host Vanessa Williams (“ABC’s Ugly Betty”); Day of “Hot Topics”; co-host Sherri Shepherd will Skype live from Hollywood post-Academy Awards and share her Oscar experience; Chris Cuomo breaks down crimes in the headlines. First time musical guestsLady Antebellum perform

** Monday's show was awesome! I didn't see all of the Oscars, so I was eager to see some of the highlights from the show! And who doesn't love Venessa Williams? She is a beauty! And I think the winners deserved to win. Congrats to everyone who made it possible for moms to watch a few good movies away from the hussle and buss;e of everyday mommy life! My favorite winners were Amy (The Hurt Locker Directory) & Sandra Bullock, who silently thanked her MOM! And about Amy being the first women director to win an Oscar, big deal? Yes, but we should look at her as a DIRECTOR, not a "woman" director. Again, CONGRATS to everyone! Ohh and HOSTS!! I love that he was himself, comedian. That is one of the main reasons I wanted to see The Oscars.

TUESDAY, MARCH 9 Guests -Andy Garcia and his daughter Dominik Garcia-Lorido (“City Island”); Elissa Stein and Susan Kim (author, Flow: The Cultural Story of Menstruation).

** Ohh! I love Andy Garcia... okay, I love everyone. I'm not a person who uses the word "Hate" very much. I'm a nice girl. And who doesn't like to talk about Menstration! LoL. I think this is a topic we women, especially moms, have to talk about and take care of ourselves. Interested in what they talk about. Hope all u moms watch.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10 – Guests: Forest Whitaker (“Our Family Wedding”); Jesse Ventura (author, American Conspiracies).

** Yeah!! "Our Family Wedding" is one of the movies I've been waiting for. If ya'll don't know... I'M HISPANIC. My grand parents are Mexican-American and our weddings are awesome, even small get togethers, because our small get togethers also end up being 50+ people (sometimes). Anywho, I saw the trailer a few months ago and love that America Ferrera is playing that role. Can't wait to see it.

THURSDAY, MARCH 11 – Sir Elton John will be sitting with the women at the table and partaking in “Hot Topics”; Guest - Eric McCormack (“Who Is Clark Rockefeller?”).

**Ehhh... not a fan of Elton John... sorry.

FRIDAY, MARCH 12 – Co- Host Kate Gosselin is back and will join the women and the return of “The View: Fashion Friday” with designer Carolina Herrera.

**Love Fashion Fridays! Kate, not so much.

“I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for ABC Daytime and will receive a tote bag or other The View branded items to facilitate my review.”

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
