Wednesday Wisdom

Finally another post of Wednesday Wisdom. This week was a hard week. After being a stay at home mom for over five years I finally went back into the workforce (part-time) and it has been taking a toll on my feelings for hubby! How, you ask. Well, as a mommy I had everything schedules. I knew when I did laundry and weekly/monthly chores and now... the house is a mess. I talked to hubby and he said he would take care of it. The first few weeks of work I'd leave him little post-its of what had to be done that day and he did it. Finally this week I didn't do that and the house is a MESS! I came home one night and just cried myself to sleep. I thought that this would end our relationship. I was thinking that this environment is not good for our girls, nor us. But I looked at the good he has done. He installed my dishwasher, he did wash some clothes, he also sweeps (cause DD is crawling everywhere), he does dishes, and the biggest thing he does and is great at it is take care of our soon to be 11 month old daughter. He is a great dad and it's silly to leave him just because he doesn't stick to my schedule. So that night I woke up like at 1 am and finished the laundry, folded some clothes and then went back to bed. It didn't take much of an effort to do it and I really didn't mind. But hubby and me have talked and he knows he ccan do better and all is well now

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
