I'm a Brand Ambassador for The View!

Yup! This mommy loves watchinig The View! I got an invitation from Mom Central a few weeks back asking if I wanted to be a Brand Ambassador for The View... so within a few minutes I took a survey and that was that. About a week ago I got the email saying that I was selected to be one of the Brand Ambassadors. I am so excited. I will be getting weekly assignment and spreading the word about what's new and upcoming on The View. So stay tuned if you to love watching The View.

I love watching The View becomes sometimes as a mommy I get bored of doing the same routine everyday. The View not only provides me with great entertainment, the girls are role models. They are intelligent, well spoken, educated and beautiful if I don't say so myself. They are well informed and aren't just a bunch of gossiping girlies. I have been watching for as long as I can remember. Even while I was in high school I'd try to watch during homeroom... hee he.

Oh and as being one of the brand ambassadors for The View I got to enter in the sweepstakes that will give one lucky Mom Central mom the chance to win a trip to New York City to watch a taping of The View! How exciting. I've never been to New York and I actually have never been away from my 11 month old baby since she was born! It would be nice to take a mini vacation. Good luck to all the moms that have entered!
Thanks to Mom Central for giving us moms great opportunities to keep our lives exciting and focused on other thing rather than gooey boogies and dirty bottoms!

“I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for ABC Daytime and will receive a tote bag or other The View branded items to facilitate my review.”

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
