FFT: A Fluffy Christmas

Our fluffy Christmas came a bit late... We used our Christmas money to go up to visit family. So it wasn't until New Years Day that hubby said I could order the AIO's I wanted to buy for Christmas. Yeah, I was so excited. I bought three AIO's, including the new Thirsties AIO. But our Christmas was delightful. The weather was excellent and we were so blessed that we were able to spend it with our family. The kids had a blast (Vet who is 5 yo and Eli who was 9 mo. at the time). Hubby got me a new camera, Vetty got a new disney princess comfertor as well as dolls that she had been asking for and gifts from family. Eli got some new blocks (eco-friendly) and some cute outfits.

We did do cloth while we were visiting family. We got lots of questions about them. There is another baby in the family and they were very interested, but weren't sold on the washing part, which is annoying, because it's not hard at all! Anywho... I loved showing the diapers off as did hubby, thank Gosh... all went well. They all came back clean and I will always CD while traveling.

We took tons of picutres. You can view this post to see some of my favorites. Here are some pics of Christmas and Eli's bubble butt!

This was Christmas Day

This was the day after @ the Mall...

This was at home... look at all those toys (AIO)

This post is apart of "Fluffy Christmas" which is hosted by Happily Domestic. This weeks topic was to show off your baby in their fluff.

  1. Thanks for joining in even if it was late. :-) How brave of you to do cloth while traveling. I haven't been that brave.

    Cute pictures too! :-)

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
