Menu Plan Monday - Quick n Easy

Well, my job search has gone into full gear. I have signed up with my local work force, job force program and I have done pretty good so far. I've submitted like 8 applications. What does this mean? Daddy is staying home. Crazy, isn't it. If you all don't know. Hubby was laid off last December and I have been working, doing contract work. I love it, but recently bills have gotten tighter so I have to look for a salary job. WISH ME LUCK!
So.... this week will be super different as far as our meals. I signed up for the Job Club and I plan on being here 7 hours a day! In the morning, I'm going to make breakfast and then drop off my daughter and mom at work and then head on over here. I am also going to bring my own lunch that way I don't miss out on any seminars or trainings that go on here all day. Dinner might not change much, depending if hubby takes out the meat to defrost and if he washes dishes as well.
Here is the menu plan for the week:
Monday
Breakfast: Oatmeal w fruit
Lunch: OTE - Villa Pizza
Dinner: Chili con Ccarne Gorditas
Tuesday
Breakfast: Cereal w/banana
Lunch: Tuna Sammies
Dinner: Oven Roasted Chicken w rice n cheese
Wednesday
Breakfast: EggSammy w/bacon n cheese
Lunch: Pasta Veggie Salad
Dinner: Chicken Stir-Fry
Thursday
Breakfast: Bacon n Egg taquitos
Lunch: Chicken Alfredo
Dinner: Hamburger Helper (home-made)
Friday
Breakfast: Pancakes
Lunch: Grilled Chicken Ranch Wraps
Dinner: OTE - Chinese Restaurant
That's my menu for the week. Now am I going to stick to it? I have no idea. But I'm going to try because you know I hate spending money by going out to eat. I am also going to go to the farmers market on Wednesday to get the fruit n veggies for the week. Can't wait. I think I only have one banana left from last week. oh and the recipe for this will will be the traditional mexican flat corn sandwhich, the Gordita!

  1. Best of luck hon, it took me a while to get good at shopping on a budget and keeping all those leftovers but I've finally got the hang of it. Your plan for the week looks great. xx
