***Cloth Diaper Revolution***

I have only been using cloth diapers for under a year and I have seen how good they are in every aspect of diapering. They are affordable, eco-friendly and soooo cute! So I got this idea from a fellow blogger (DDL) to start a CLOTH DIAPER REVOLUTION!!!

I have sent letters to my state reps about the importance of getting rid of disposable diapers how easy using cloth diapers have become. I let them know that I am going to be contacting diaper makers and asking them to help me help other moms learn about the 'New' cloth diapers. i have gotten responses from Bumkins... and a few others who are sending me starter kits so that I can show moms how easy they are to use. I have yet to receive feedback on any retailers (children's clothes stores) that will let me have the demos/classes, but I hope I will soon. I am not getting paid or asking for money to do this and I invite moms who already have a good stash of cloth diapers to do the same. Head on over to your favorite clothing store and ask them if you can show moms how to use cloth diapers!

It is going to be easy and fun! I mean, I already get lots of stares and moms coming up to me asking me about my baby's bum!

Who's with me?

Please share, tweet and email all the moms you know that use cloth diapers to join the

Cloth Diaper Revolution!!!

  1. This is a great idea. I have been selling cloth diapers for 4 years and I am still amazed by how many parents say "I could never wash cloth diapers." Guess what? My washing machine does it for me! Cloth diapering really is simple and if more moms share what they know, it will help so many families save money and trees!

Hickies: Back-to-School Series #1

Every Friday in the month of September I will share a few tips for making the transition for both kids and parents a bit easier. This first one is a doozie! HICKIES! Keep reading to learn what I'm talking about.... I try to buy my girls (i have 3 school-aged daughters) two or more pairs of shoes; an active shoe, which usually has laces, and a more casual/formal shoe, which usually doesn't have laces. Which ones do they choose to wear nearly every day to school? The ones that have shoe laces! Of course my oldes daughter, who's now 13, can tie her own shoes, but the other two still need help. And let's be real, even the oldest one I find myself nagging her to tie her laces correctly, she gets sloppy in the mornings at times. Here come HICKIES to save the day!

Hate tying your kids' shoes everyday before they step out of the house? Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-on…
