Then, thanks to my obsession with buying diapers I found DiaperSwappers.com when I was pregnant and started looking and buying diapers. Then, I saw that there were moms also selling many other things and testing their products.
I ran into Whitney who was looking for testers for her knitted hats! Awesome, now I don't have to make my own! Plus, it was already October and it was too late to start another project and have it done in time for winter. Whitney sold me two hats, one for my then 7 month old and another for my 5 year old daughter. I paid under $10 for the hats.
A few weeks later I got the hats in the mail and they were so adorable. At first I thought that the baby one would be too small, but they are surprisingly stretchy! The baby hat is white with a pink trim and attatched ties, super cute. When my daughter first saw them she put hers on right away. She has a hat and shoe obbsession! I put on my babies hat and my 5 year old said it looks like she has pink braids.
I love them and carry them in my purse or diaper bag wherever we go. It isn't that cold here in south Texas, but I still like for them to wear them when it gets windy. And let me tell you, when they wear them they get so many stares and I get so many compliments on them. They first wore them out to one of the local parades and the pictures are adorable. We also took a mini-vacation to visit family and I'm so glad I packed them because it was the first real cold front we had here in Texas. My aunt loved the hats and wanted to know where I got them so she could buy them more. She was the first person that asked where I bought them. I've gotten a total of 5 moms ask me where I bought them.
The hats keep them warm and are totally stylish and since I got them with a white base they match with almost anything! I have to thank Whitney so much for the awesome hats and the great deal.
If you want to buy your own you can contact Whitney @ Diaperswappers.com here: whitneywalters. She is currently working on her website, but it will be up and running soon. You can also email her at email@example.com. Also ask her about her hyena cart, for she will be selling on there very soon. She also wanted to let everyone know that she is testing a couple other products as well so that she can offer more.
I truly enjoy making adorable hats for kids. Since you loose so much heat out of
your head you may as well keep your noggin warm and in style!
ps... Sorry no pictures, they will be up later tonight.
