This Thursday is Thanksgiving. A day to remember our ancestors and be thankful for the natives for sharing their land with us. When I think of this time of the year I tend to be more earth-friendly. Doesn't Thanksgiving remind you of natural, earth and make you thankful for everything that is pure? I do. I hope to pass that onto my children. We shop for fruits and veggies at our farmers market weekly, but tend to visit more often during this time of the year. So today I thought I'd share some tips that you might want to use during your Thanksgiving festivities.
We, my daughter and I, usually do a little craft each Thanksgiving. We have done napkin rings, placemats and she always helps me make the "Thank You" cards that we send out on Thanksgiving. This year we will be making Bountiful Boats." We will be making papermache boats and hand dying them fall colors with natural dyes using fruits n veggies. Then filling them with home-made trail mix.
