Remember CoCo Wheats?

I had a great shopping day at Wal-Mart today. It really wasn't a planned trip, but hubby sent me to the store to get him some theraflu. So I made a small list of what I needed and took some extra coupons just in case I could get it at a good deal. Here's what I bought:

Nursery Water $1.28 ea - $.55 coupon = $1.00 ea
Clorox 2 16load $3.86 - $1.00 coupon = $2.86
Tide Free He 64load $10.97 on sale for $8.00 - $1.00 = $7.00
BeechNut 10 Jars @ .46 ea - $1.00 = $.36 ea
Scott Bathtissue (Naturals) $2.68 - $1.00 = $1.68
Progresso soup (High Fiber) $1.68 on sale for $1.50 - $.25 coupon = $1.25
Yo Baby meals $.94 - B1G1F = $.47 ea
Coco Wheats $2.88 on sale for $1.00 = $1.00
White Cloud Bath tissue (4-rolls) $2.00 - $1.00 coupon
Theraflu $4.42
Eggs $.88
Bread $.88
Milk $1.98
Juice $2.53
Total of 25 items

Total: $40.04
Coupons: $5.74
GiftCard: (returned gifts) $ 20.35
Total OOP: $13.95
Savings of: $26.09 or 65%

I also like to average how much each item came out to after OOP. Today it came out to $.55 each item! I think this might be my best trip yet. The only item I bought impulsivly was the CoCo Wheats because they were in the clerance rack! Then when I got home and googled "CoCo Wheats" I saw they have a $1.00 off, so I might go back and return them to get them FREE!! Everything else was on my shopping list. I wanted to get the new Tide Stain release or whatever it's called. I saw it on sale for $3.85 the other day, but it was back to normal price... DARN!

So, if ya'll go to the Little Crow Foods website and sign up for their coupons, you might be able to get your Coco Wheats for FREE! Here's more info on the old favorite:

"The creamy hot cereal with the cocoa treat!"

CoCo Wheats was introduced in 1930 with the belief that hot cereal could taste good, and be good for you. Kids love the warm cocoa taste and moms love the fortified nutrition.

CoCo Wheats is now enriched with calcium, something both kids and adults need for a healthy body.
  • Easy to make -- takes just 1-1/2 minutes on the stovetop or in the microwave
  • Enriched with calcium, plus 7 vitamins and iron
  • Made with wheat farina and pure breakfast cocoa
  • No added salt or sugar
  • Great for breakfast or snacktime
