Fuffly Bumz & Happy Mumz Review

Hello fluffy mamas,

This is my first review for me. I've been cloth diapering for almost 6 months now and I've been stuck with Thirsties Diaper covers. I recently bought a diaper cover from a WAHM, Ivy, through Fluffy Bumz & Happy Mumz because she was offering a discount to CafeMom users. You know it's hard to pass up deals, especially if it's for a diaper cover. I use prefolds and covers on my little one.

The first thing I liked about this cover is the price! All the diaper covers start at $5.00. How awesome is that. Second is the look, she has a large amount of fabric to choose from and it's like getting a custom diaper because there are other add-ons available. Now, when I first got the diaper I thought it would be small because it looked tiny, especially around the legs, but when I first tried it on my little one I found that the elastic had very good elasticity. I also loved the elastic in the back, because as a mama who uses prefolds, it's almost like it hugged and kept the prefold in place. The front did move around a bit when she lays down. It also has large laundry tabs and a large velcro area, but it doesn't bother the baby because there is about a half an inch of fabric above the velcro. My little one used the diaper three times and got washed twice and rinsed once before it was used. She made poo in the cover once and it did not leak but it did get one the cover and got it stained. I tried hand scrubbing it, but it did not come off. The stain isn't a big deal with me because it still works.

Overall I give this diaper cover 5 stars
Fit: 4 stars
Design: 4 stars
Affordability: 5 stars
Ease of use: 5 stars

Congrats to Ivy on starting up her website! She's off to a great start. I will be purchasing some more covers soon! Here's what she has to say:

My goal is to be able to provide good quality diapers and covers that the average joe can afford and you don't have to break the bank. I am on a strict budget and remember when looking for CD for my son how first ovewhelming it was and how many options there were and the cost that when I decided to make my own and my business started when I bought too much fabric and wanted to just sell off what I had so I could buy different and it took off from there. I also like to help mommies in need and it's not I want stories sent to me but in getting to know my customers I get to know them and there situations and I have a lady now who is on a very strict budget and had been wanting a Halloween diaper cover and I finally but it on clearance and she bought it well in getting to know here better I have chosen her to get a AIO diaper at no charge she won't know about it until she get's her package it's my way of helping who really needs to be helped.

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
