Bright Starts - Review

Bright Starts™ 3-Piece Chill and Teethe Teether Tubes Pack

I send my husband to go dry clothes twice a week. He doesn't mind because he gets to talk on the phone with his friends or visit someone or grab a snack from wherever he wants! Well, the other day he came home with a Wal-Mart bag. I thought to myself, that's odd.... He hates Wal-Mart! So he handed it to me and asked "Is this okay?" I looked in the bag and it was teething toys; Bright Starts 3-Piece Chill and Teeth Teether Tube Pack. I was like, yeah, these look okay. We had been going through teethers like crazy. My baby's first tooth starting breaking through at around 18 weeks months! We had bought like four or five different kinds and they would break and get leaks so easily.
I opened them up and bent and pulled on them and they seemed pretty sturdy. So I stuck one in the fridge (no freezer) and handed the other one to the baby. She looked at it for a few minutes and then went at it! She loved it!

This is an awesome teether, we've had them for two weeks now and I think we may go out and buy another set today.

Cost: 10/10 Low

Durability: 10/10 Excellent; it's a harder, thicker plastic that I can't see how your babies teeth can break or puncture it.

Saftey: 10/10Not to small nor to big. Just right for those little fingers to grab onto.

Comfort Level/Pain Releif: 10/10 Excellent; she likes to rub them back n forth on her two little teeth, and seems happier!

Green Factor: 5/10Neutral; It is made out of plastic, but filled with sterile water, not that gel stuff. Sealed in plastic

Features: 10/10Excellent; water-filled, refrigerate to cool, fun colors and textures, easy to grasp and 3 per set

Availability: 9/10Wal-Mart, Babies R Us and most stores that carry baby toys.

Overall: 9/10

Ideas: These can be used like any other teether, but you can also be used to make other toys. While out and about, not to lose them, you can make your own teether holder by getting a peice of string or fabric (baby safe) and safty pin it to your stroller/sling. You can also do the same and hang it from the baby carrier (car seat) handle so they can bat around. You can also use them as "coins." Make a slit in a coffee or formula can, a large one and cover the canister in a piece of fabric and attach a extra peice of fabric to the lid for easy opening.

Pros: Chilled for better releif, raised sections for texture, very durable

Cons: You cannot freeze or boil to sterilize them. They must be hand washed with a cloth and mild soap (as stated on package).

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
